Don’t wait until the shit really hits the fan to begin….

It’d be easy to decide someone is a “strong” person, or not “strong. That resilience is a thing a person “has”, or does not have, or that coping/mental/emotional “strength” is something you’re born with, or with a “lack” of.

But these are not facts. And your decision on whether to believe this is a choice only you have power over.

It is possible to “build” resilience & these “strengths” through practice. Which is nothing complicated – it’s really just making nice feelings more familiar & so easier to call on when needed.

Regularly internally cultivating the feeling that “everything is going to be ok” helps to strengthen the link & so to have ready to draw upon when it’s really needed.

Don’t wait for all hell to break loose to get going.Don’t wait until things get especially hard to try to get to that place of reassurance inside.

It is exactly during the times when you really don’t feel like you need it that it’s important to practice. By practicing during these times, that place inside you is ready to draw upon when it’s really needed.

Even if you don’t feel like you need it right now, it’s a key message to have ready to be drawn upon when it’s really needed.

Don’t wait until the shit really hits the fan to begin.

Everything is going to be ok…
